After handling many breeds for other breeders and exhibitors I started with my first Shih Tzu in 1999 after falling in love with the solid colour form of the Shih Tzu. Knowing nearly nothing of the breed I started to show my first Shih Tzu - a solid silver brindle bitch ( I have always enjoyed a challenge!). 

I endeavour to maintain the features of the breed - the sound, strong body along with the temperament and attitude that the breed is renowned for.  We are small, selective and strive to maintain the desired traits by selectively linebreeding. By doing this we have kept the solid genetic very strong in our dogs, with most litters being 50% solid or higher.  I was extremely lucky in aquiring bloodlines from some of Australia's top kennels to establish my own kennels. To date we have titled over 10 champions with 6 still residing under our roof , with another 4 well on their way to their championships.

Currently I am showing two young girls both bred by me and one gorgeous Lhasa Apso from the Zaland Kennels.
